This website is a personal project for me. Technology, privacy, and security are important to me both personally and professionally. Being "the tech guy" for the friends and family in my life, I've found myself wanting a trustworthy resource to point people at for further reading and self-education.

Most tech outlets and community resources are a minefield of unlabeled sponsored "reviews", are confidently incorrect, or are too technical for the average person to understand. I hope to be none of those things.

I do not and will not accept sponsored articles. I am a lifelong security nerd, work in the field professionally, and am always open to community feedback. My goal here is to help normal people use safer, more ethical technology, and hopefully learn something along the way.
